In all of my Art classes students will gain an understanding on how to use colour to build expressive art, understand colour schemes as well as build on the fundamental art concepts of value, depth, composition, the elements and principals of art.

ABSTRACT ART : LANDSCAPES AND FLORALS. Acrylic and Watercolor and mixed media

PAINTING : BASICS AND BEYOND using ACRYLIC, GOUACHE or WATERCOLOR
Mondays evenings 6 – 8:30 pm; 10 classes, $200 ; Jan 13th. - Mar 17th.
Designed for all levels.Topics include colour theory and mixing, composition, brush handling and how to use mediums, washes, glazes and impasto. Previous drawing experience recommended, but not required. We will do some drawing exercises periodically, along with painting. DRAWING and PAINTING PEN INK GOUACHE WATERCOLOR

Designed for all levels.Learn how to use pen and ink and watercolor to create unique works of art on paper. Previous drawing experience recommended, but not required. We will do some drawing exercises periodically, along with painting. The class is designed for ongoing learner artists and motivational to keep your creative juices flowing and paint your travel experiences, urban scene, cities landscapes and people.
OIL PAINTING: TECHNIQUES AND PAINTALONGS ( Online)
Tuesday evenings 6 - 9 pm; 10 classes, Cost 340; Jan 14th - Mar 18th
Designed for all levels.Topics include colour theory and mixing, composition, brush handling and how to use oil paints. How to start a painting and apply paints in layers. Previous drawing experience recommended, but not required. We will do some drawing exercises periodically, along with painting. The class is designed for ongoing learner artists and motivational to keep your creative juices flowing. Topics covered include all of the supplies: brushes, palette knives, oil paints, palettes, surfaces, and more. There will be a demo and a fresh new painting every class and a video will be available for following along after the class.
In-Person (One Day Workshop). You can purchase directly through me or through eventbrite (Link below). In-Person classes are held in Hamilton ( At my Home Studio) w/ individual attention. For individuals, small groups, corporate groups.
2.5 hours painting session includes all materials for painting a 9 x 12 painting for your home. Cost: $50 per person. Minimum 2 people.
4 hours all-in exclusive painting session includes a drink, snacks and all materials included for painting a 16 x 20 painting for your home. Cost: $100 per person.
Special In-Person Outdoor Classes:Plein Air Painting all through Summer and Fall. Small groups. Instructional. In and around Niagara / Hamilton / Unionville / Richmond Hill. 3 hour painting session, minimum 2 people, $65/person, all materials included.

I really enjoyed Pam's class and her method of teaching. She had a course outline with lessons that included how to paint still life, portrait and landscape, but she also allowed students to work on their own paintings. She provided individual teaching, enhancing whatever piece the students were working on. I participated in a painting class with a few friends with Pamela Dey. Pamela is a knowledgable instructor, who is able to impart her knowledge to students in a way that is meaningful and practical.
